I give delight. An exchange is made....you give me your heaviness...I give you my joy. You give me your burdens, I give you my freedom.
You lay down the weight of the law, with its obligations and heaviness, and receive delight.
It is not possible to "delight yourself" in me, under law. It can not happen. Law is never a delight, but a duty.
Delight is offensive to law. Which is why, my currency, joy, love, freedom, and delight are an offense to those suffocated by law. But we must do this....we must say this....impart life, but not the life of my Son.
I want you to laugh
I want you to play.
I want you to walk in the sunshine and see my Hand on you.
I want you to sing to me in the gentle breeze, when the leaves are shifting to an invisible dance.
I want for you, love, delight, joy and freedom. This is my Kingdom, my Covenant with you and my nature.
Come and drink deeply. Taste and see my beauty. Let is free you from every weight of duty
that quenches my spirit and every burden that chases away my joy.
Let my life free you from the weight of the flesh, so you may dance with me in the joy of the Spirit.
Let him lead me to the banquet hall, and let his banner over me be love. (Song of Solomon 2: 4
The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness, he will quiet you by his love. he will exult over you with loud singing. (Zeph 3:17)
The word "traffick" challenges me. It means to transport or sell illegally. How can God use this word? Am I hearing him....but then I realize, bliss and delight do break the law of legalism....It is too silly, too light, and too happy. I notice the play on words, I believe Abba is using and it's just too cool.
