I'm rebuilding your walls

Updated: Jun 19, 2020

I'm rebuilding your walls, my Beloved one. Do you see how beautiful they are?

They are brilliant, clear and shining. Diamonds and jewels adorn.

Notice the height of this room. The width. It is a palace, you think in amazement.

But haven't I called you my daughter? The daughter of royalty? Mine?

Why does this surprise you dear one?

You will smile and laugh, Your joy increase to overflowing. This is the scale of my goodness and my love for you.

There was desolation here before. Burnt down rooms, ashes, destruction. It was a place of sorrow. But now you see- how I rebuild? How I make new?

I see the beauty in you, Beloved one.

When you felt unloved, rejected and alone. When you felt despised, worthless and without hope- I saw castle walls. When you saw the devastation around you- I was whispering words of hope, and singing songs of freedom over you.

What you see now- what you beginning to believe, is what I have always known and what I invite you to. This is what I put in you, from before the foundation of the world.

Before you took a breath here, in this life, I was smiling at you and I knew you. I knew what I put in you and what was coming. I have made everything beautiful in its time, dear one.

Receive my dreams my for you!

Receive my beauty for you!

Receive restoration to the fullest!

This is my joy, my will and my heart.

Afflicted city, lashed by storms and not comforted,

I will rebuild you with stones of turquoise,

your foundations with lapis lazuli.

I will make your battlements of rubies,

your gates of sparkling jewels,

and all your walls of precious stones.

Isaiah 54:11-12
